By purchasing a membership, you agree to the terms below. We've kept this as plain-language as possible.
The Aloha Post is a fixed-term mail membership from Sea Light Studios, an S corporation based in Hawai'i, doing business as Sea Light Print Shop and The Aloha Post ("we," "us"). Questions? Reach us at [email protected].
You may pay for your full term in one payment (Pay in Full: $90 or $144), or in equal monthly installments over your term (Pay Monthly: $15/mo for 6 months, or $12/mo for 12 months), through our secure Shopify checkout.
If you choose Pay Monthly, you authorize Sea Light Print Shop to automatically charge your payment method each month for the length of your term. The monthly option is a payment plan for a fixed-term commitment — not a cancel-anytime, month-to-month plan. All prices are in U.S. dollars; applicable taxes are added at checkout where required by law.
Your first Aloha Post is covered by the Aloha Promise — if it doesn't move you to send a meaningful note, contact us within 14 days of receiving it and we'll refund your full membership. After the first card, memberships are non-refundable, and if you chose Pay Monthly your remaining installments continue for the length of your term.
Lost or damaged shipments will be replaced or credited. Full details in our Refund Policy.
When you join, you commit to your full 6- or 12-month term. Except under the Aloha Promise, memberships are not cancellable mid-term, and monthly installments continue for the length of the term. Because it's a fixed-term commitment, self-service cancellation is not available in your account.

Members who purchase a paid-in-full membership during the launch period are designated Founding Members. Founding Members keep their original membership rate on all consecutive renewals — provided each renewal occurs within 30 days of the current term's end — regardless of future price increases. If a membership lapses beyond this 30-day window, Founding Member pricing is forfeited, and any future membership is billed at the then-current rate. Founding Member status is non-transferable.
We ship within the United States only. You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout. Full details in our Shipping Policy.
You may purchase a membership as a gift by entering the recipient's shipping address at checkout. All terms apply regardless of whether the purchaser and recipient are different people. The purchaser is responsible for the transaction.
All photography, artwork, card designs, and written content included in The Aloha Post are original work owned by Sea Light Print Shop and protected by copyright. Cards are for personal use and gifting only — they may not be reproduced, resold, or used commercially without written permission.
Sea Light Studios' total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your membership. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits your consumer rights under applicable law.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawai'i. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hawai'i, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.
We're a small, founder-run shop and we take care of our members. If something isn't right, please reach out before assuming the worst — we want to make it right.
